We are pleased to announce the addition of Mr. David Susanto and Ms. Yenny Chandra to FICA board. With these addition, FICA has five board members. The other board members are Mr. Rinto Dasuki (chair), Mr. Johannes Setiabudi, and Mr. Leonard Winardi (president). With the addition of Mr. Susanto and Ms. Chandra, God has strengthened FICA’s organization, enriched our perspective, and made us more sensitive to God’s direction. This also shows God’s direct involvement in sustaining FICA organization and community.
The election of Mr. Susanto and Ms. Chandra to FICA board is really fitting given their support of FICA ministry. Mr. Susanto has been affiliated with FICA ministry since 1989, where he participated in Indonesian Christian Conference in Los Angeles, California. He received Christ when he was still a sophomore in college. His passion is to apply his skills, talents, experience, and cultural context for the glory of God locally and also globally. He and his wife reside in Washington, D.C. metro area where they work and serve at a local church.
Ms. Chandra has been affiliated with FICA since 2004, where she served as FICA campus liaison to the Indonesian Christian Fellowship in Austin, Texas. Recently, she has served as Overseas Mission Conference Chair and as our treasurer. Her passion is discipling students and empowering them to be the next leaders in Indonesia. She resides in Houston, Texas, where she works and serves at a local church.
